Reminder: Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in
Psychology, is joining with Discovery Toys for a
“toyraiser” to benefit Children’s Hospital.
Ruth Snyder, an educational consultant with Discovery Toys,
will be on campus on Monday, November 2 and Tuesday,
November 3, from approximately 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. The
display of Discovery Toys will be near the entrance to the
patio in the Danna Center.
To help, you can (a) purchase toys, books, or games to
donate, (b) contribute money towards the purchase of toys,
books, and games to be donated, or (c) purchase toys, books,
or games for your own family’s and friend’s learning and
enjoyment, with ALL proceeds from sales going toward the
purchase of educational toys and learning materials to be
donated.
Over the past several years, Psi Chi has been very
successful in collecting and donating educational toys to a
variety of recipients. Over the past few academic years, Psi
Chi has raised approximately $2000 for products that have
been donated to several New Orleans area schools and
hospitals. We will appreciate your help in making this
another successful event!
