The Spanish dramatist José Moreno Arenas is known for his
short, comic plays that confront the audience with a
shocking twist at the end. Rapid-fire humor that envelops
serious social criticism is the trademark of this dramatist.
His plays deal with everyday problems of common people, and
the attitudes of current society.
